
Joan Carroll-Flowers, founder of Zulema Enterprises LLC, has more than four decades of business experience. Through the years she has been a change agent, working with literally hundreds of major corporations, nonprofits, community-based organizations, government agencies, and small business owners.
Prior to becoming an award-winning entrepreneur, she spent 22 years as an advertising professional in New York, creating new ideas and setting high creative standards for Fortune 50 companies.
When her SEMS™ sustainability training was used by the Cincinnati Housing Authority, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) recognized the program as a "best practice” for small business supplier development.
In 2015, the City of Cincinnati recognized her at the Mid-West Regional Sustainability Summit for helping more than 350 small businesses to streamline costs, create operational efficiencies, and improve their environmental performance.
Since 2020, her youth development programs have made a different to empower students in eight high schools in the City of Philadelphia.
Over the years Joan has written several books. Her latest is a self-help workbook titled The Deliverance Project - A Seven Step Journey Toward True Freedom, available on Amazon.
